From September 6–8, 2025, Schaefer & Companions had the privilege of presenting our vision at the Bijorhca Salon in Paris. More than a trade show, Bijorhca became for us a stage where creativity, craftsmanship, and humanistic spirit converged. It was here that the world first caught a glimpse of the Solune Antarctica Marquetry Edition — a collection born from the dialogue between light and shadow, sun and moon, freedom and precision.
The Gesture of Creation
At the heart of our presence was our Companion, Sabine Aucoulon, who offered visitors a rare and intimate moment: an exclusive live demonstration of straw marquetry. With each delicate fragment of straw placed by hand, she revealed the poetry of this ancestral craft. The dial became her canvas, the case its frame, and the light reflecting across every fiber evoked the icy radiance of Antarctica.
This was not only a technical showcase but a celebration of the human gesture — patience, vision, and creative strength transforming raw material into a luminous work of art.
Beyond Paris: A Journey Forward
Our journey does not end in Paris. With joy, we announce our continued presence on the international stage:
-
Worn & Wound Fair – New York Edition (October 17–19, 2025), where exclusive new pieces will meet the public for the very first time.
-
Festival Suisse de l’Horlogerie (September 19-20-21, 2025), a celebration in the heart of Switzerland, where our creations return to their origins of watchmaking culture.
Each encounter is another chapter, another canvas, another ray of light cast upon the timeless dialogue between art and horology.
